A: Trouble completing your order on the website may indicate that there is a problem with your shipping address (or UPS's interface is down). If you have verified that your address is correct and are still having trouble, please contact us for help.
Q: I am having trouble using my discount code. What do I do?
A: Ensure that you are typing the code correctly and that you are following any restrictions on the promotion. For example a buy two get one free promotion code requires that at least 3 items are in the shopping cart. Each promotion may have a unique set of criteria associated with the use of the code. If you are sure you typed the code correctly, and you are following the crieteria for the code and are still having a problem, please contact our customer support team.
Q: How do I sign up for an account?

Q: How much is shipping to my address?
A: Shipping costs vary widely depending on what the shipping company you've chosen charges to ship to your address. To get an accurate estimate add the drops to your cart and begin the checkout process (Prior to completing the payment, you'll be shown the shipping amount to your address and chooses of shipping companies and shipping methods available. You are not required to complete payment, simply cancel the transaction or close your browser and you will not be charged).
Q: What are the Backdrops and Floordrops made of?
A: All drops are 100% glare - free, guaranteed.
PolyLite is our most economical and lightest Poly material. In fact, it's nearly identical to our regular PolyPro except for the "slightly more slim" factor. It is lightweight and tear-resistant. We use PolyLite in our Lemondrop Studios. Most inexpensive, lightest weight, most easily maneuverable, no glare!
PolyPro is a Polypropylene Banner that is lightweight and tear-resistant. It is only slightly thicker than our PolyLite. Both Polys have a high level of water resistance, and are a great choice for your studio drops. Both polys are flexible and have a matte finish so there is no glare in any lighting. No glare whatsoever!
Our Vinyl material has been discontinued temporarily. We are working on a better, more durable finish solution for you!
***We suggest that you do not wipe water or ANY liquid from your drops, let them air dry and they should be a-ok! All drops should be stored rolled or hanging.
Q: How are the Backdrops and Floordrops printed?
A: Our backdrops and floordrops are printed on a state-of-the-art 60 inch wide graphics printer. They are sent to the printers after your order is received. Additionally our drops will all feature 1/4" or less white edges, great for those who would like to tape them directly to the wall or clamp, with less chance to damage the printed image. Of course, these are easy to trim with a sharp scissor on any side to meet up with a floor or backdrop.
Q: What does the term "floordrop" mean?
A: The purpose of our Drops, specifically our Faux Wood designs, is to be versatile enough to use both behind a subject as well as on the floor under the subject. Thus the terms, "backdrop" and "floordrop". Essentially every drop can be used on the floor or behind a subject.
Q: If I order two of the same design, will the colors match?
A: Our backdrops are printed on a variety of printers, and from different locations. There may be slight color variations due to a number of factors. Temperature, humidity, ink lot, material coating, and slight differences in the color calibration of the printers can all have an effect on the final printed design. To ensure your printed designs match as closely as possible when ordering multiple drops of the same design, please order them together (in the same order) and on like (or the same) material. We cannot guarantee an exact color match. If you're looking for color match with two like designs, please purchase in same order, on same material.
Q: What if I don't have a backdrop stand but want to use your backdrops? How should I hang them?
A: There are solutions for using backdrops without a backdrop stand. If you have a flat wall that you can use for your backdrop, 3M makes a great product called Command. The Picture Hanging Strips work well for this application. If you follow the directions on the back of the package, you will have a reusable hanging solution with no alterations whatsoever to your wall. We also have clients use velcro, painter's tape on the backdrop's white edges, or rubber-tipped clamps (metal may scrape or damage) on a backdrop stand. Our Facebook page also has an album with great storage and hanging ideas.
Q: Can I use a backdrop or floordrop on carpet?
A: Our products should be used on hard, flat, smooth surfaces only. Please do not use on carpet or bumpy surface - you could cause damage to your product.
Q: Do you do custom designs?
A: Unfortunately, No.
We are not taking Custom requests for backdrops at this time.
Q: Do you only print 60" wide?
A: 60" is the width of our printing capabilities at this time. We have found that any wider and it becomes almost impossible for one person to hang and handle the backdrops during a photography shoot. However, we do offer Double Wides, which are two drops that you will line up next to each other whose design will line up for a seamless look. Several of our designs can be printed as a double wide. Please contact us if you have specific questions.
Q: What is a Double Wide?
A: Double Wides are two (5' wide) drops that you will line up next to each other to make a 10' width. The design will line up for a seamless look. Several of our designs can be printed as a double wide. You will need to cut the edge of one of your doubles with a sharp scissor. This is easily done. Some Double Wide patterns/prints may be easier to line up using two persons due to the drop sizes. Please contact us if you have specific questions.
Q: Is length added to the height or the width of a drop?
A: Each of our drops will have a fixed 5' edge and the other is variable. The orientation depends on the design. When you click on the description of the design it will tell you if it is vertically or horizontally (landscape) oriented. If it says vertical: any extra footage will be added vertically making the drop taller (fixed 5ft width). If it says horizontal (landscape): any extra footage will be added horizontally making the drop wider (fixed 5ft height). **If you have any questions regarding the orientation of a particular design please contact us for assistance.
Q: Can I have my design or photo made into a backdrop or floor drop?
A: Unfortunately, not at this time.
Q: What happens if my backdrop or floordrop gets wet?
A: Due to the nature of our matte finish, any water that gets on a drop should be simply allowed to AIR DRY, do not wipe. If you plan to use the drop on the floor under 'hazardous' (i.e. animals or children that may urinate, etc), we suggest you use plexi or protect with a UV spray. Contact customer service for links to sprays that we have found to be good. Spray note: We cannot monitor application of a 3rd party product.
Q: Can I do a cake smash on my drops?
A: If you plan to do cake smashes, we recommend using Plexiglass over top of your drop. Otherwise cakes smashes on our drop material is not recommended.
Q: How do I store my backdrop or floor drop?
A: To avoid creasing, store your drops rolled or hanging. None of our materials should be folded. Contact customer service for more ideas and links. Please store your drops rolled with design facing inward, in a moderately temperatured space, away from sun, heat, or humidity exposure to avoid yellowing or other damage.
Q: How long til my product is shipped?
A: Our usual processing time 1-3 business days, in some cases less depending on our order volume. This time frame includes production and preparation for shipping but does NOT include shipping time. ***CHOOSING EXPEDITED SHIPPING DOES NOT EXPEDITE YOUR ORDER IN HOUSE*** If your order is a rush, please contact us and we will in most cases be able to accommodate. However, since we have to rely on shipping companies, we do NOT guarantee arrival dates. Our product is custom and printed to order. We have a 5pm CST pickup time so the date of ship does not count as a shipping day. Please note all shipping days are business days.
Q: How does my product ship?
A: Our drops ship in a new, innovative, extra strong triangular box.
Q: What are the hours for LemonDrop Stop?
A: LemonDrop Stop production area business hours are M-F from 9 am to 5 pm CST. However, we have someone available to answer your emails from 8 am to 8 pm CST.
Q: Can you combine multiple orders together to ship together?
A: We can combine shipping in the same order and save you money provided your product from those orders will all fit in the same container. If you want to combine orders, please contact us IN ADVANCE of placing your orders.
Q: Can I return my product?
A: Each order is custom printed for you and made to order. In some cases we will accept a return if the customer pays for return shipping.
If you have an issue with a damaged product, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue. THESE ISSUES MUST BE ADDRESSED WITHIN THREE WEEKS OF RECEIPT. If you order during a B2G1 sale and return for a refund, your total drop order purchase price will be taken into account and divided by the number of drops in that order to reach the refund price. That will be the price per drop for refund purposes.

Q: What if I paid for expedited shipping and my order did not arrive as expected?
A: Our normal processing time is 1-3 business days and we try to process orders in the order that they are received regardless of the shipping method you choose (if your order is a rush, please contact us and we will in most cases be able to accommodate). Choosing expedited shipping does not automatically expedite your order. Since we have to rely on shipping companies and the shipping companies will not guarantee delivery dates nor will they re-imburse for late packages because of the size of our packaging, we also can NOT and do NOT guarantee arrival dates. *Note: UPS considers our packages to require additional handling as such does not refund the shipping charges if shipments requiring additional handling are not delivered by the time normally scheduled for such shipment. Q: My drop does not look exactly as I see online.
A: We print in CMYK and your monitor is showing you RGB colors. There may be slight variances in color with different monitor calibrations. Additionally, most of our drops have a texture that you may not see on your screen at a 5 inch size. We encourage you to use your drops and are confident you will be satisfied with the results.
Q: How will my drop be cropped if I order smaller than what is shown online?
A: Most designs you see on the site are shown at 5x6' or 5x7'. At this time, we get all of our designs from LemonDrop Stop, It is up to Lemondrop design team's discretion on where/how to crop the design. If you are ordering a drop that is a scene or has a door or a floor, the drop will usually be anchored at the floor and will be cut off from the top.
Q: How do I pay?
A: For orders completed online we accept PayPal or credit card payments.
Q: Why does my free drop show up as $.01 in my shopping cart?
A: For mathematical calculation and transaction purposes, we need to have a value other than zero set for the price of all drops (even those purchased with Reward Points or Gift Certificates), so we've set the price on those to a penny. But that's still a steal!
Q: Do you offer a US military discount?
